Jennifer Lewis Brooks is an Emmy award winning director, writer and producer.

 

Her production experience began in the non-fiction television space, where she was a writer and researcher for shows that aired on Discovery, MSNBC and DIY networks. She later went on to become a commercial and television pitch writer for Lucky Dog Filmworks, and she traveled the country producing sizzle reels for potential new series and helped win development deals with A&E, TLC and OWN.

 

Jennifer expanded into directing when she joined the in-house creative team at an international non-profit. In addition to writing and producing, she also became an in-demand director for their for comedic and dramatic shorts and non-fiction stories. She has also directed many thought-leaders, including New York Times best selling author Andy Stanley. As a director, her passion is creating content with humor, heart and beautiful imagery.

 

She was an Executive Producer and Co-Director of Slates for Sarah, a PSA that included celebrities such as Jack Black, Heather Locklear, Nina Dobrev and the television cast of Criminal Minds.

 

In 2021, she received an Emmy award for directing and producing the dramatic short MLK. 

 

Today, her specialty is creating work for the commercial, non-fiction and branded content space. She is experienced in delivering content at the nexus of many voices, including agencies, talent, producers, executives and multiple creatives. She is primarily based in Atlanta, Georgia.
